16 When he qsummoned a famine on the land
Judgment on Judah and Jerusalem
1 For behold, the sLord God of hosts
is taking away from Jerusalem and from Judah
support and supply,1
all tsupport of bread,
and all support of water;
16 Moreover, he said to me, w“Son of man, behold, xI will break the supply1 of bread in Jerusalem. They shall eat bread oby weight and with anxiety, and they shall drink water oby measure and in dismay.
16 when I send against you1 mthe deadly arrows of famine, arrows for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, and when I bring more and more famine upon nyou and break your supply2 of bread.
13 t“Son of man, when a land sins against me uby acting faithlessly, and I stretch out my hand against it and vbreak its supply1 of bread and send famine upon it, and wcut off from it man and beast,
