Proverbs 3:3–4; Proverbs 22:1; Proverbs 25:9–10

Let not csteadfast love and dfaithfulness forsake you;

ebind them around your neck;

fwrite them on the tablet of your heart.

So you will gfind favor and hgood success1

in the sight of God and man.

22  pA good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,

and favor is better than silver or gold.

xArgue your case with your neighbor himself,

and do not reveal another’s secret,

10  lest he who hears you bring shame upon you,

and your ill repute have no end.
