Proverbs 3:27–28

27  rDo not withhold good from those to whom it is due,1

when it is in your power to do it.

28  sDo not say to your neighbor, Go, and come again,

tomorrow I will give itwhen you have it with you.


Proverbs 11:24–26

24  jOne gives kfreely, yet grows all the richer;

another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

25  lWhoever brings blessing mwill be enriched,

and none who waters will himself be watered.
