Blessed Is the One Who Finds Wisdom
13 uBlessed is the one who finds wisdom,
and the one who gets understanding,
35 For pwhoever finds me qfinds life
and robtains favor from the Lord,
23 Thus says the Lord: y“Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches,
24 but zlet him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. aFor in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”
10 pThe fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and qthe knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
7 But awhatever gain I had, bI counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of cthe surpassing worth of dknowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I ehave suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ
3 cin whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
14 I have hcounsel and isound wisdom;
I have insight; jI have strength.
30 And because of him1 you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us swisdom from God, trighteousness and usanctification and vredemption,
30 The fruit of the righteous is wa tree of life,
and whoever xcaptures souls is wise.
