15  The leech has two daughters:

Give and Give.¹

^dThree things are never satisfied;

four never say, “Enough”:

16  ^eSheol, the barren womb,

the land never satisfied with water,

and the fire that never says, “Enough.”

5  “Moreover, ^swine¹ is a traitor,

an arrogant man who is never at rest.²

His greed is as wide as ^tSheol;

like death he has never enough.

He gathers for himself all nations

and collects as his own all peoples.”

12  like Sheol let us swallow them alive,

and whole, like ^uthose who go down to the pit;
