8 guarding the paths of justice
32 Yet in spite of this word lyou did not believe the Lord your God,
33 mwho went before you in the way nto seek you out a place to pitch your tents, in fire by night and in the cloud by day, to show you by what way you should go.
11 fLike an eagle that stirs up its nest,
that flutters over its young,
spreading out its wings, catching them,
bearing them on its pinions,
12 gthe Lord alone guided him,
hno foreign god was with him.
23 The isteps of a man are jestablished by the Lord,
when he delights in his way;
24 kthough he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,
for the Lord lupholds his hand.
19 sMany are the afflictions of the righteous,
tbut the Lord delivers him out of them all.
6 for the Lord pknows qthe way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together hfor good,1 for ithose who are called according to his purpose.
8 With him is qan arm of flesh, rbut with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people took confidence from the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
17 lThe Lord your God is in your midst,
na mighty one who will save;
ohe will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
