Proverbs 24:33

33  lA little sleep, a little slumber,

a little folding of the hands to rest,

Proverbs 6:4–11

hGive your eyes no sleep

and your eyelids no slumber;

save yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter,1

ilike a bird from the hand of the fowler.

jGo to kthe ant, O lsluggard;

consider her ways, and mbe wise.

nWithout having any chief,

oofficer, or ruler,

she prepares her bread pin summer

and qgathers her food in harvest.

rHow long will you lie there, lO sluggard?

When will you arise from your sleep?

10  sA little sleep, a little slumber,

ta little sfolding of the hands to rest,

11  uand poverty will come upon you like a robber,

and want like an armed man.

Romans 13:11

11 Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you bto wake from sleep. cFor salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

Ephesians 5:14

14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

mAwake, O sleeper,

and narise from the dead,

and oChrist will shine on you.

Ephesians 5:1

Walk in Love

jTherefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

1 Thessalonians 5:6–8

So then dlet us not sleep, as others do, but let us ekeep awake and fbe sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, gare drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, hhaving put on the breastplate of ifaith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.
