Proverbs 24:12; Luke 16:15; 1 Corinthians 4:4; 1 Samuel 16:7

12  If you say, Behold, we did not know this,

kdoes not he who lweighs the heart perceive it?

Does not he who mkeeps watch over your soul know it,

and will he not repay man naccording to his work?

15 And he said to them, You are those who wjustify yourselves before men, but xGod knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men yis an abomination in the sight of God.

oFor I am not aware of anything against myself, pbut I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.

But the Lord said to Samuel, bDo not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, cbut the Lord looks on the heart.
