Proverbs 21:23; Proverbs 12:13; Proverbs 18:21; James 3:2

23  cWhoever keeps his mouth and his tongue

dkeeps himself out of etrouble.

13  An evil man is ensnared uby the transgression of his lips,1

vbut the righteous escapes from trouble.

21  tDeath and life are in the power of the tongue,

and those who love it will eat its fruits.

For dwe all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, ehe is a perfect man, fable also to bridle his whole body.
