The Death of Miriam

1 And the people of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of ^lZin in the first month, and the people stayed in ^mKadesh. And Miriam died there and was buried there.

14 ^ebecause ^fyou rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin when the congregation quarreled, failing to uphold me as holy at the waters before their eyes.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)

8 Your fathers did this, ^jwhen I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.

36 And they set out from Ezion-geber and ^rcamped in the wilderness of Zin (that is, Kadesh).

4 And your border shall turn south of the ascent of Akrabbim, and cross to Zin, and its limit shall be south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon.
