17 wFor all the firstborn among the people of Israel are mine, both of man and of beast. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I consecrated them for myself,

4 while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, pwhom the Lord had struck down among them. qOn their gods also the Lord executed judgments.

51  He struck down every kfirstborn in Egypt,

the firstfruits of their strength in the tents of lHam.

sthe firstfruits of all their strength.

both of man and of beast;

for his steadfast love endures forever;
