Numbers 5:2

Command the people of Israel that they iput out of the camp everyone who is leprous1 or has ja discharge and everyone who is kunclean through contact with the dead.


Numbers 12:14–15

14 But the Lord said to Moses, If her father had but bspit in her face, should she not be shamed seven days? Let her be cshut outside the camp seven days, and after that she may be brought in again. 15 So Miriam dwas shut outside the camp seven days, and the people did not set out on the march till Miriam was brought in again.

Now there were four men who were lepers1 iat the entrance to the gate. And they said to one another, Why are we sitting here until we die?
