13 And the Lord’s anger was kindled against Israel, and mhe made them wander in the wilderness forty years, nuntil all the generation that had done evil in the sight of the Lord was gone.
7 For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He knows your going through this great wilderness. kThese forty years the Lord your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.”’
2 And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you pthese forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, qtesting you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.
6 For the people of Israel walked uforty years in the wilderness, until all the nation, the men of war who came out of Egypt, perished, because they did not obey the voice of the Lord; the Lord vswore to them that he would not let them see the wland that the Lord had sworn to their fathers to give to us, a land xflowing with milk and honey.
10 Also it was I who brought you up out of the land of Egypt
and led you forty years in the wilderness,
to possess the land of the Amorite.
