21 He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob,
nor has he seen trouble in Israel.
The Lord their God is zwith them,
and the shout of a king is among them.
Laws Concerning Warfare
1 “When you go out to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, myou shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is nwith you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
19 And the Lord was nwith Judah, and he took possession of the hill country, but he ocould not drive out the inhabitants of the plain because they had pchariots of iron.
22 The house of Joseph also went up against Bethel, and the Lord was with them.
8 With him is an arm of flesh, gbut with us is the Lord our God, to hhelp us and to fight our battles.” And the people took confidence from the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
10 Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing;
speak a word, but dit will not stand,
for God is with us.1
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
14 Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said.
23 Thus says the Lord of hosts: dIn those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”
