11 fAnd the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people gdespise me? And how long will they hnot believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them?
23 shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despised me shall see it.
20 For when I have brought them into the land vflowing with milk and honey, which I swore to give to their fathers, and they have weaten and are full and xgrown fat, they will turn to other gods and serve them, and despise me and break my covenant.
17 Thus the sin of the young men was very great in the sight of the Lord, for the men treated the offering of the Lord with contempt.
14 Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the Lord,1 the child who is born to you shall die.”
