19 you in your great mercies did not forsake them in the wilderness. The ^kpillar of cloud to lead them in the way did not depart from them by day, nor the pillar of fire by night to light for them the way by which they should go.

21 ^hAnd the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. 22 The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people.

14 and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O Lord, are ^lin the midst of this people. For you, O Lord, are seen ^mface to face, and your ⁿcloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

Warning Against Idolatry
