10 Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and isend portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
11 You make known to me cthe path of life;
in your presence there is dfullness of joy;
at your right hand are epleasures forevermore.
11 These things I have spoken to you, nthat my joy may be in you, and that oyour joy may be full.
3 Not only that, but we frejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering gproduces endurance,
17 hFor the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but iof righteousness and jpeace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
5 For as we share abundantly in jChrist’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.1
10 ras sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; sas poor, yet making many rich; tas having nothing, uyet possessing everything.
4 I am acting with ngreat boldness toward you; oI have great pride in you; pI am filled with comfort. In all our affliction, I am overflowing with joy.
22 But ethe fruit of the Spirit is flove, joy, peace, patience, gkindness, goodness, faithfulness,
4 pRejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, awho for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising bthe shame, and cis seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
8 uThough you have not seen him, you love him. vThough you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,
17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne rwill be their shepherd,
and he will guide them to springs of sliving water,
and tGod will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
