Nehemiah 2:3; Nehemiah 2:17; Isaiah 64:11; Jeremiah 33:10; Jeremiah 33:12

I said to the king, aLet the king live forever! Why should not my face be sad, bwhen the city, the place of my fathers' graves, lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire?

17 Then I said to them, You see the trouble we are in, thow Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned. Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer usuffer derision.

11  eOur holy and beautiful1 house,

where our fathers praised you,

has been burned by fire,

and all our pleasant places have become ruins.

10 Thus says the Lord: In this place eof which you say, It is a waste without man or beast, in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man or inhabitant or beast, there shall be heard again

12 Thus says the Lord of hosts: iIn this place that is waste, without man or beast, and in all of its cities, there shall again be jhabitations of shepherds kresting their flocks.
