Matthew 17:12; Luke 22:15; Luke 24:46; Hebrews 13:12

12 But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but xdid to him whatever they pleased. ySo also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.

15 And he said to them, I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.

46 and said to them, Thus nit is written, othat the Christ should suffer and on the third day prise from the dead,

12 So Jesus also nsuffered ooutside the gate in order to sanctify the people pthrough his own blood.
