The Pharisees and Sadducees Demand Signs
1 fAnd the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and gto test him hthey asked him to show them ia sign from heaven.
3 And Pharisees came up to him and rtested him by asking, s“Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?”
18 But Jesus, aware of their malice, said, “Why pput me to the test, you hypocrites?
