55 ^qIs not this ^rthe carpenter’s¹ son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

3 ⁿIs not this the carpenter,¹ the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” And they ^otook offense at him.

12 After this he went down to Capernaum, with his mother and his brothers¹ and his disciples, and they stayed there for a few days.

3 So his brothers¹ said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, that your disciples also may see the works you are doing.

5 For ^rnot even his brothers believed in him.

10 But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly but in private.

14 All these with one accord were ^xdevoting themselves to prayer, together with the ^ywomen and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.¹

5 ^oDo we not have the right to take along a ^pbelieving wife,¹ as do the other apostles and the brothers of the Lord and ^qCephas?

19 But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord’s brother.
