36 I tell you, son the day of judgment tpeople will give account for uevery careless word they speak,
16 zon that day when, aaccording to my gospel, God judges bthe secrets of men cby Christ Jesus.
13 xeach one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed yby fire, and zthe fire will test what sort of work each one has done.
9 then ethe Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials,1 and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,
17 By this ais love perfected with us, so that bwe may have confidence for the day of judgment, because cas he is so also are we in this world.
12 fFor the Lord of hosts has a day
against all that is proud and lofty,
against all that is lifted up—and it shall be brought low;
