29 Jesus answered, The most important is, vHear, O Israel: The Lord our God, wthe Lord is one.

I am the Lord; that is my name;

tmy glory I give to no other,

nor my praise to carved idols.

And qthe Lord will be king over all the earth. rOn that day the Lord will be sone and this name one.

tAnd this is eternal life, uthat they know you, vthe only wtrue God, and xJesus Christ whom you have sent.

Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that tan idol has no real existence, and that uthere is no God but one.

yet wfor us there is one God, the Father, xfrom whom are all things and for whom we exist, and yone Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and zthrough whom we exist.
