Judging Others

1 ^h“Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and ⁱwith the measure you use it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

6 ^j“Do not ^kgive dogs what is holy, and do not throw your ^lpearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

God’s Righteous Judgment

1 ^bTherefore you have ^cno excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For ^din passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.

Do Not Cause Another to Stumble

13 Therefore ^clet us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a ^dstumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

5 Therefore ^udo not pronounce ^vjudgment before the time, before the Lord ^wcomes, who will ^xbring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will ^ydisclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.
