44 But I say to you, ^xLove your enemies and ^ypray for those who persecute you,

28 ^obless those who curse you, ^ppray for those who abuse you.

34 And Jesus said, ^s“Father, forgive them, for they ^tknow not what they do.”¹ And ^uthey cast lots to divide his garments.

60 And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, ^y“Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, he fell ^zasleep.

14 ^lBless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.
