33 “Again ^hyou have heard that it was said to those of old, ^q‘You shall not swear falsely, but ^rshall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’

2 ^gIf a man vows a vow to the Lord, or ^hswears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. ⁱHe shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

21 ^c“If you make a vow to the Lord your God, you shall not delay fulfilling it, for the Lord your God will surely require it of you, and you will be guilty of sin.

4 When ^syou vow a vow to God, ^tdo not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. ^uPay what you vow.
