Matthew 22:36–40

36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law? 37 And he said to him, gYou shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And ha second is like it: iYou shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 jOn these two commandments depend kall the Law and the Prophets.


Romans 13:8–10

Fulfilling the Law Through Love

wOwe no one anything, except to love each other, for xthe one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, yYou shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet, and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: zYou shall love your neighbor as yourself. 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore alove is the fulfilling of the law.


Galatians 5:14

14 For sthe whole law is fulfilled in one word: tYou shall love your neighbor as yourself.
