28 ^cCome ^dto me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and ^eI will give you rest. 29 Take my ^fyoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will ^gfind rest for your souls. 30 For ^hmy yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

34 Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your ^xsynagogues and ^ypersecute from town to town, 35 so that ^zon you may come all the ^arighteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous ^bAbel to the blood of ^cZechariah the son of Barachiah,¹ whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.
