50 And one of them struck the servant1 of the high priest and cut off his right ear.


Matthew 26:51–54

51 And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his gsword and struck the servant1 of the high priest and cut off his ear. 52 Then Jesus said to him, Put your sword back into its place. For hall who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53 iDo you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me jmore than twelve klegions of angels? 54 lBut how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?


Mark 14:47

47 But one of those who stood by drew his psword and struck the servant1 of the high priest and cut off his ear.


John 18:10–11
