12 kKeep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, lthey may see your good deeds and glorify God on mthe day of visitation.


16 jhaving a good conscience, so that, kwhen you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.


14 cIf you are insulted dfor the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory1 and of God rests upon you.


16 Yet eif anyone suffers as a gChristian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God din that name.
