7 And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, ais unclean to you.
4 who sit in tombs,
and spend the night in secret places;
kwho eat pig’s flesh,
and broth of tainted meat is in their vessels;
3 e“He who slaughters an ox is like one who kills a man;
he who sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck;
he who presents a grain offering, like one who offers fpig’s blood;
he who makes a memorial offering of frankincense, like one who blesses an idol.
gThese have chosen their own ways,
and their soul delights in their abominations;
17 y“Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one in the midst, zeating pig’s flesh and the abomination and mice, shall come to an end together, declares the Lord.
8 And the pig, because it parts the hoof but does not chew the cud, is unclean for you. Their flesh you shall not eat, and wtheir carcasses you shall not touch.
6 v“Do not give wdogs what is holy, and do not throw your xpearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.
33 Then the demons came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into jthe lake and drowned.
15 So he went and hired himself out to1 one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs.
2 And the Pharisees and the scribes agrumbled, saying, b“This man receives sinners and ceats with them.”
18 wServants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust.1 19 For this is a gracious thing, when, xmindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. 20 For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But yif when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. 21 For zto this you have been called, ybecause Christ also suffered for you, aleaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. 22 bHe committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.
