Jeremiah 50:17; Isaiah 53:6; Matthew 18:12; Luke 15:4

17 lIsrael is a hunted sheep mdriven away by lions. nFirst the king of Assyria odevoured him, and now at last pNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon qhas gnawed his bones.

qAll we like sheep have gone astray;

we have turnedevery oneto his own way;

rand the Lord has laid on him

the iniquity of us all.

12 jWhat do you think? kIf a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?

dWhat man of you, having a hundred sheep, eif he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine fin the open country, and ggo after the one that is lost, until he finds it?
