Jeremiah 38:9; Jeremiah 52:6; Ezekiel 4:10; Ezekiel 4:16

My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they did to Jeremiah the prophet by casting him into the cistern, and he will die there of vhunger, wfor there is no bread left in the city.

On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.

10 And your food that you eat shall be oby weight, ptwenty shekels1 a day; from day to day2 you shall eat it.

16 Moreover, he said to me, wSon of man, behold, xI will break the supply1 of bread in Jerusalem. They shall eat bread oby weight and with anxiety, and they shall drink water oby measure and in dismay.
