Zedekiah to Die in Babylon

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, when cNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army dand all the kingdoms of the earth under his dominion and all the peoples were fighting against Jerusalem and all of its cities: Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Go and speak to eZedekiah king of Judah and say to him, Thus says the Lord: fBehold, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.

The Fall of Jerusalem

nIn the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and besieged it. In the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, a breach was made in the city.


Ezekiel 24:2

mSon of man, write down the name of this day, this very day. The king of Babylon has laid siege to Jerusalem this very day.
