17 cDo not listen to them; wserve the king of Babylon and live. Why should this city ebecome a desolation?

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: You have seen all the disaster that I brought upon Jerusalem and upon all the cities of Judah. Behold, this day lthey are a desolation, and no one dwells in them,

rTherefore my wrath and my anger were poured out and kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, sand they became a waste and a desolation, as at this day.

31 And I will qlay your cities waste and will rmake your sanctuaries desolate, and sI will not smell your pleasing aromas.

33 And vI will scatter you among the nations, and I will unsheathe the sword after you, and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.
