13 for my people have committed two evils:
the fountain of mliving waters,
and hewed out cisterns for themselves,
broken cisterns that can hold no water.
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you hliving water.”
14 but kwhoever drinks of the water that I will give him lwill never be thirsty again.1 The water that I will give him will become min him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
26 yFor as the Father has life in himself, zso he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.
