13  “Therefore thus says the Lord:

Ask among the nations,

Who has heard the like of this?

The virgin Israel

has done a very ^ahorrible thing.

14  But in the prophets of Jerusalem

I have seen a horrible thing:

they commit adultery ^land walk in lies;

they ^mstrengthen the hands of evildoers,

so that no one turns from his evil;

ⁿall of them have become like ^oSodom to me,

and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”

10  In the house of Israel I have seen a ^khorrible thing;

^lEphraim’s whoredom is there; Israel is defiled.
