Joshua 7:19; Jeremiah 13:16; 1 Samuel 6:5; Isaiah 42:12; Acts 12:23
19 Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, vgive glory to the Lord God of Israel and wgive praise1 to him. And xtell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”
16 fGive glory to the Lord your God
gbefore he brings darkness,
before your feet stumble
on the twilight mountains,
and gwhile you look for light
he turns it into gloom
and makes it hdeep darkness.
5 So you must make images of your dtumors and images of your mice that ravage the land, fand give glory to the God of Israel. Perhaps ghe will lighten his hand from off you hand your gods and your land.
12 Let them give glory to the Lord,
and declare his praise in lthe coastlands.
23 Immediately ian angel of the Lord struck him down, because jhe did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.
