The Commander of the Lord's Army

13 When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, ca man was standing before him dwith his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, Are you for us, or for our adversaries?

21 while I was speaking in prayer, the man zGabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, acame to me in swift flight at bthe time of the evening sacrifice.

jI lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, ka man clothed in linen, lwith a belt of fine mgold from Uphaz around his waist.

And someone said to othe man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,1 pHow long shall it be till the end of these wonders? And I heard othe man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; qhe raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and rswore by him who lives forever that it would be for a stime, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of tthe power of tthe holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.

I saw in the night, and behold, qa man riding on a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in the glen, and behind him were rred, sorrel, and white horses. Then I said, What are these, my lord? sThe angel who talked with me said to me, I will show you what they are. 10 So qthe man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered, tThese are they whom the Lord has sent to upatrol the earth. 11 And they answered sthe angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees, and said, uWe have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth vremains at rest.
