13 Then ^vJoshua blessed him, and he gave Hebron ^wto Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance. 14 Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he wholly followed the Lord, the God of Israel.

11 They gave them Kiriath-arba (Arba being the father of Anak), that is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, along with the pasturelands around it. 12 But the fields of the city and its villages had been ^wgiven to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as his possession.

20 And Hebron was given to Caleb, ^qas Moses had said. ^rAnd he drove out from it the three sons of Anak.
