4 And they came out with all their troops, a great horde, ^gin number like the sand that is on the seashore, with very many horses and chariots.

5 And the Philistines mustered to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots and six thousand horsemen and troops like the sand on the seashore in multitude. They came up and encamped in Michmash, to the east of Beth-aven.

11 But my counsel is that all Israel be gathered to you, from Dan to Beersheba, as the sand by the sea for multitude, and that you go to battle in person.

8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, ^bGog and Magog, to ^cgather them for battle; ^dtheir number is like the sand of the sea.
