58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^ubefore Abraham was, ^vI am.”

7 If you had known me, you would have ^eknown my Father also.^{1 f}From now on you do know him and have ^gseen him.”

8 Philip said to him, “Lord, ^hshow us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? ⁱWhoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that ^jI am in the Father and the Father is in me? ^kThe words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

16 And I will ask the Father, and he will ^sgive you another ^tHelper,¹ to be with you forever,

26 “But when the ^bHelper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the ^cSpirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will ^dbear witness about me.
