Jesus Is Equal with God

18 This was why the Jews were ^pseeking all the more ^qto kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, ^rmaking himself ^sequal with God.

37 I know that you are offspring of Abraham; yet you ^rseek to kill me because my word finds no place in you.

40 but now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. ^uThis is not what Abraham did.

53 So from that day on they ^umade plans to put him to death.
