John 1:29

Behold, the Lamb of God

29 pThe next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, qthe Lamb of God, who rtakes away the sin of the world!

John 3:14–15

14 And tas Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be ulifted up, 15 that vwhoever believes in him may have eternal life.1

John 6:51–58

51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you seat the flesh of the Son of Man and tdrink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is utrue food, and my blood is true drink. 56 vWhoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood wabides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and xI live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will ylive zbecause of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread1 the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

John 10:15

15 just as vthe Father knows me and wI know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

John 11:50–52

50 Nor do you understand that qit is better for you that one man should die for the people, not that the whole nation should perish.” 51 He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 and rnot for the nation only, but also sto gather into one tthe children of God who are scattered abroad.

John 12:24

24 Truly, truly, I say to you, uunless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it vbears much fruit.

John 15:13

13 iGreater love has no one than this, that someone jlay down his life for his friends.
