The Word Became Flesh

1 ^aIn the beginning ^bwas ^cthe Word, and the Word was ^dwith God, and ^ethe Word was God.

14 And the Word ^xbecame flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his ^yglory, glory as of the only ^zSon¹ from the Father, full of ^agrace and truth.

18 ^hNo one has ever seen God; God the only Son, who¹ is ⁱat the Father’s side,^{2 j}he has made him known.

8 Philip said to him, “Lord, ^hshow us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? ⁱWhoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
