14 And the Word ^xbecame flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his ^yglory, glory as of the only ^zSon¹ from the Father, full of ^agrace and truth.

18 ^hNo one has ever seen God; God the only Son, who¹ is ⁱat the Father’s side,^{2 j}he has made him known.

18 ^bWhoever believes in him is not condemned, but ^cwhoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed ^din the name of the only Son of God.

9 ^zIn this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
