John 10:14–18

14 I am the good shepherd. uI know my own and my own know me, 15 just as vthe Father knows me and wI know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And I have xother sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and ythey will listen to my voice. So there will be zone flock, aone shepherd. 17 For this reason bthe Father loves me, because I lay down my life cthat I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This dcharge I have received from my Father.”

John 10:27–30

27 My sheep ohear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I pgive them eternal life, and they will never perish, and qno one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, rwho has given them to me,1 is sgreater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30 tI and the Father are one.”
