The Word Became Flesh

1 ^aIn the beginning was ^bthe Word, and ^cthe Word was with God, and ^dthe Word was God.

14 And ^zthe Word ^abecame flesh and ^bdwelt among us, ^cand we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son¹ from the Father, full of ^dgrace and ^etruth.

18 ^lNo one has ever seen God; ^mGod the only Son, who¹ is at the Father’s side,^{2 n}he has made him known.

8 ^rPhilip said to him, “Lord, ^sshow us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? ^tWhoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
