The Lord Will Pour Out His Spirit
28 1 h“And it shall come to pass afterward,
that iI will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
jyour sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.
15 until sthe Spirit is poured upon us from on high,
and the wilderness tbecomes a fruitful field,
and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.
29 And I will not hide my face anymore from them, when I ipour out my jSpirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord God.”
Him Whom They Have Pierced
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and qpleas for mercy, so that, when rthey look on me, on him whom they have pierced, sthey shall mourn for him, as one mourns tfor an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.
39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were mto receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, nbecause Jesus was not yet oglorified.
