8 “As for me, I would seek God,
and to God would I commit my cause,
14 aIs anything too hard1 for the Lord? bAt the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”
5 dCommit your way to the Lord;
ztrust in him, and he will act.
6 rdo not be anxious about anything, sbut in everything by prayer and supplication twith thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 ycasting all your anxieties on him, because zhe cares for you.
Hezekiah’s Prayer for Deliverance
14 Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the Lord, and spread it before the Lord.
15 And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord:
24 vBefore they call I will answer;
wwhile they are yet speaking I will hear.
16 Therefore, yconfess your sins to one another and pray for one another, zthat you may be healed. aThe prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.1
I Love the Lord

my voice and my pleas for mercy.
2 Because he ainclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
